This Millets Flakes Stir Fry is perfect for busy days when you want something healthy, filling, and delicious—without spending hours in the kitchen.
π§Ύ Ingredients (1 Person)
Millets flakes (soaked & drained) – 1 cup
Oil – 1 tsp
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
Onion (sliced) – 2 tbsp
Capsicum (sliced) – 2 tbsp
Carrot (julienne) – 2 tbsp
Beans / peas – 2 tbsp (optional)
Green chilli (chopped) – ½ tsp
Ginger (finely chopped) – ½ tsp
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Red chilli powder / Pepper – ¼ tsp
Salt – to taste
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
π©π³ Method
Soak millets flakes in water for 2–3 minutes and drain completely.
Heat a pan and add 1 tsp oil.
Add mustard seeds & cumin seeds; let them crackle.
Add onion, green chilli, and ginger. SautΓ© for 30 seconds.
Add all vegetables and stir fry for 1–2 minutes (keep them crunchy).
Add turmeric, chilli/pepper, and salt.
Add soaked millets flakes and toss gently.
Cook on low flame for 2 minutes.
Switch off the flame, add lemon juice & coriander leaves.
Serve hot and enjoy π
