Today’s Recipe: Multi-Millet Khichdi
Ingredients:
½ cup Foxtail Millet
¼ cup Green Moong Dal
1 cup Chopped Vegetables (Carrot, Beans, Peas)
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Ghee
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Wash and soak the millet and dal for 30 minutes.
Heat ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds and sauté vegetables.
Add soaked millet & dal, turmeric, and salt.
Add 2 cups of water, cook on medium heat until soft.
Serve hot with a dash of ghee or fresh coriander.
