Today’s Recipe: Multi-Millet Khichdi

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup Foxtail Millet

  • ¼ cup Green Moong Dal

  • 1 cup Chopped Vegetables (Carrot, Beans, Peas)

  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds

  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder

  • 1 tsp Ghee

  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Wash and soak the millet and dal for 30 minutes.

  2. Heat ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds and sauté vegetables.

  3. Add soaked millet & dal, turmeric, and salt.

  4. Add 2 cups of water, cook on medium heat until soft.

  5. Serve hot with a dash of ghee or fresh coriander.
